Butt welded flange is generally made by forging or forging rolling process. It should be cut into strips along the rolling direction of the steel, bent and welded into a ring, and make the surface of the steel form a cylinder of the ring. The steel plate shall not be machined directly into a neck butt welding flange; 3, the butt weld of the ring should adopt full penetration weld; 4. The butt weld of the ring shall be subjected to post-welding heat treatment, and be subjected to 100% ray or ultrasonic inspection, and X-ray inspection shall meet the II requirements of JB4730, and ultrasonic inspection shall meet the I requirements of JB4730.
The outer inclination of the neck of the butt welded flange should not be greater than 70°. The technical parameters of butt welded flange are strictly controlled during production and welding to ensure that they can fully play their role and value in production and use.
